The Gallery application on my Android phone started to show a lot of black thumbnails. They also appeared in JustPictures!, the app I use the most to look at my pictures.

I tried several things to solve the issue, but nothing worked. Until I finally found SDrescan, which solved the problem. Apparently the Android thumbnail cache was pretty messed up, and SDrescan cleaned it up.
